R. Kelly Plato is our Senior Vice President, Chief Investment Officer and serves on the Investment Committee of our Investment Advisor. Mr. Plato has over 18 years of investment management, corporate finance, engineering, and general management experience in the energy industry. Mr. Plato serves on the governing boards of several of our portfolio companies. From March 2003 to February 2005, Mr. Plato was a partner of Odyssey Energy Capital, LP, a private capital provider to the energy industry and successor to Mirant Americas Energy Capital, LP.  Mr. Plato graduated with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law.
